BASICS
Name: Lady Harmonia of Rhia
Age: 23
Birthdate: October 13, 606
Class: Mage
Country: Dentoria
Blood Type: O
Languages: Trade [A], Dentorian [C]
Family: RHIA; Immediate family: [Father] Edgar [Mother] Rosalind [Brothers] Ralph, Owain, Kelvin [Sister] Madeline
HISTORY
What could be easier than a life of luxury? Would that it was that easy. Harmonia was the last child of Lady Rosalind of Rhia, who was herself the fourth child of Lord Stephan. She was twenty-fourth in line for Rhia's rulership, and she was told she should act like it. It didn't take her very long to find humour in the fact that they wanted her to act as if she was closer than she really was to it. Her great grandfather didn't seem like the type to act very serious. Not as serious as her mother wanted her to be.
She fell in with several of her cousins, and for most of her youth magic was the thing. Magic, gossip, preeening, and parties. She fed on the attention of her cousins, her peer group. Naturally, it was a large group, and shifting constantly within the bounds of minor scandal and familial obligations. Meanwhile, her tutors were constantly complaining to her parents that she wouldn't do the work given to her. Other girls would give at least a cursory amount of study to other things. It didn't seem to matter very much to her. She'd tell them that no husband she wanted would be interested if she knew some obscure fact of history that no one cares about anymore.
It became clear to everyone as she approached her later teens that she was completely spoiled. Her mother wanted to start looking for marriage prospects for her early on, but Harmonia was non-commital with every suitor she saw. They weren't good enough for her standards. None of them could measure up to her father in terms of wealth and influence. Her father, so busy with his own business -- keeping it afloat easily despite coming into the Rhia family and attending all of their functions! -- worked far harder than anyone she saw as a suitor. Even men she'd get get into relationships with on her own never lived up to her standards. She was nice enough to them, but she always pointed out their obvious flaws. She wasn't going to settle down with a flawed man unless he was rich enough to be worth it -- and her standards for that particular metric were quite high.
In the mean time, Harmonia is content to enjoy the freedom of youth and the liberal atmosphere of Rhia. Her childhood friends are grown up, but the parties have only gotten better with time. And who really wants to grow up anyway?
PERSONALITY
Her natural environment is the dance floor, and the tables beside that hold the wine. In both she holds her own, and she's not afraid to keep going past her body's limits. A good time is one that is thoroughly enjoyed to the last second. She's not the responsible one in her peer group that makes sure everyone gets back to their own beds. She's very good at not ending up in her own.
The dragon in the room is that, yes, she is used to either getting her own way or getting angry with the fact that she isn't. You're either on her side on an issue, or you are not. This was painfully more pronounced in her youth, but she's never lost all of her drive to be in control of situations that she feels she should be entitled to control. Anything that is hers is hers unless she says otherwise. She's very vocal that way.
Of course, her father's generous coffers -- Lady Rosalind married well, after all -- tend to flow fast in the company of her friends. She's less possessive of that, because it affords her more attention than her criticisms ever could. Being inside her circle is a very lucritive place to be. A couple of her cousins whose parents are tighter with their purse strings seem permanently enthralled to Harmonia's generosity.
APPEARANCE
Harmonia was blessed with the best parts of her mother's appearance -- dark brunette hair, an hourglass figure, and generous assets -- but she was never content with just having that at her disposal. She is always concerned with her own appearance, and making sure that everything about her looks figure in just perfectly. Harmonia always looks exactly how she wants to look. She spends a great deal of time making sure that every detail is taken care of. She doesn't ever look perfectly composed, but whatever deviations from pristine dress exist on her person are there because she placed them there.
Because perfection isn't what she's seeking, but the perfect placement of imperfections that can draw the eye.
When alone or mostly alone, she's given to relaxing in unusual positions. Though if you ask her why, she'll be upfront about the fact that she heard it's good for the posture.
